hey guys,

yesterday i just put on a new FX muffler and that bastard is loud as hell. I was kind of worried that it would sound as loud as the stock but it has a silencer you can take in an out of it and with it out it SCREAMS. I set off two car alarms yesterday, it was hilarious. I know its not a borla or magnaflow but for the price it sounds pretty cool and its alot louder and obnoxious than borla or magna. just thought id let yall know. $70 installed.

So does the Intake make the supercharger whine louder? Does a free-er flowing exhaust allow you to hear the Supercharger more distinctly? What sounds are more distinct with the new FX muffler? I don't so much care about Namebrand or sound as much as I care about quality and performance.

 

No the exhaust wont effect the sound of the supercharger.

 

no there is no difference in sound with the super but the exhaust sounds alot better. im goin to solve the supercharger sound problem with a cold air intake system here in a few days when it gets shipped in.

and as far as trying to leave it quiet and be a sleeper? this car doesnt have enough ***** to be that. plus with a loud exhaust it makes those mustang GT **** mess with me more then i can blow their asses away. i come from the smallblock V8 LS1/2 world. im not goin to be happy until my car has about 300hp, and i wish GM would hurry the hell up with those stage 2 kits!!!! i keep getting my ass romped by souped up SRT-4's!!! Hey GM? Hurry the F up!!

i think its funny that people associate name brand with xhaust performance
its gases escaping from a pipe, tuning that doesnt make you famous

 

i didnt know FX was name brand?? i had never heard of it, i went into the shop asking for magnaflow but he said to put that one on. i think it sounds good though. i've always known jack sh*t about exhaust.
