I was supposed to go but everything has went to hell in a handbasket for me this week. My husbands offshore rotation got changed, so he will be gone for 6 weeks straight. I started a new job, it is sucking the life out of me. I am working nearly 12 hours a day 6 days a week. I wanted to go.

 

I will be up there sat.Srt-man we should meet up somewhere.

 

Ok is "heatwave" the same thing as the other meet being discussed here? I am lost lol.

 

Thats called Autofest. I don't know what "heatwave" is either.

 

The Texas Heatwave, it is a truck show or use to be, I think it's just a huge party now.

 

Yea ok and it is down in Austin. Cool now I know.

 

it's more than a truck show, there are hot rods, lowriders, bikes, classics, there is a bikini contest, wet t-shirt, burnout, etc.
it's a 3-day event and it's big.

 

 

So what is it some sort of gathering of people or something???
