So I am wondering if any of you guys are going to Texas HeatWave in Austin this year.

Show is July 24-26 at the usual location but this year its the 20th anniversary so I will be willing to bet that its going to be bigger and better than ever

Yea dont know why i posted this so far away.. I had just put in my time off in the book and decided to make a post to see who all was going to be there..

 

better to be organized, might get it on the front page, but our schedule is only posted for the next week only so i dont know what id be working next month, i may quit this job who knows

 

Yea when the time gets closer I may message a mod and see if we cant get it on the front page..

The last couple years I never really saw many balts at heat wave. there was one guy in a yellow SS that was a complete dick when I was talking to him.. But I think there was only two there last year.

Its def a badass show

 

The dick with the yellow SS was most likely Pablo. He sorta got chased out of Austin due to making too many bad promises.

I'm not going, myself. Never been interested in car shows.

 

there were more than 2...centex had at least 3 there on our own, but anyway..yea well be there again this year...dont know if i really count haha but ill still be pushing our cobalts to go

 

Well I wont be repping a balt either.. I will be in the GTI. and for sure wont be showing.. I have been the last 5-6 years and have never been in the show. I just enjoy the whole thing

 

I will most likely go. I have a Pontiac G5 but I won't be in the show but just to go to look at some nice GM vehicles like Corvettes, Camaros, Cobalts, etc

that guy is pablo. he is the biggest *** and dick you would ever meet. but he got rid of his yellow **** can and got a white pontiac solistis. got the normal upgrades of rims, intake, exhaust, and etc.

he actually beat me in the texas showdown with that car. i thought it was bs cuz his car is a convertible and it was still in my class.

 

I hear ya, when he had the cobalt, he beat me at a local show here in San Antonio

Damn I cant wait!! I dont even have to take off work this time since I will already have weekends off!!!
