Just traded in my cobalt SS

I had it for about a year, and it was an awesome daily driver (my c6z06 was a weekend car). as a courtesy, wanted to let you guys know I traded it in to Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson, and it's a damn clean car. I sold because I'm moving to Seattle and plan to commute by bus out there.

Dallas TX USED 2009 CHEVROLET COBALT 2dr Cpe SS RED 13C150

I know a lot of these forums don't like linking to car postings, so my apologies to the mods; feel free to delete or move the thread to the right subforum, but as a matter of honor felt it necessary to let you guys know there was a real clean SS out there. I don't get money from reliable for telling anybody, just getting the word out.

It was a stage 1 turbo 09 SS coupe with the boost gauge, but not RPM. Also had the LSD and the pioneer sub. 31k miles. Still has warranty left.

p's,
joseph

Wish I was closer. The price seems good too. Especially after negotiating with them.

ya it sucks. My uncle works for Boeing basically in Seattle, and its spendy to live there, and then if your not rich, you live in a trashy ass area.

If you buy it, let me know if you want the owners' manuals. I forgot to turn it in with the car, so I can mail it to you. The car is basically brand-new inside and out. Maybe a couple rock chips on the paint, one scuff on the RR fender above the tire; other than that, immaculate.

good luck!

I'll be living in either Queen Anne or Belltown. It's really not all that much more than I pay now in Richardson (maybe $500/mo more). Work is 12 minutes, half that is walking a block or two from and to a stop. Grocery store is like 7 minutes away by walk. If I get tired of it, I'll move to a burb and buy another sports car lol. I just wanted to try out city life for at least a year.

Fixed.

Do yourself a favor, move to Sammamish.

ha. Belltown doesn't seem that bad anymore, it's actually very docile. From what I hear, several years back it used to be that way, before it got expensive and before they ran out all the artists.

I'm on the 21st floor right now of a high rise and can see the sound, the space needle and lake union. Awesome views, but ya you pay for it.

I might wise up in a year and move to the burbs. Thanks for the tip about Sammamich, I'll check that out. Traffic wasn't all that bad actually. I went up from SeaTac to downtown Seattle in morning and afternoon rush hour and it was only 25 minutes. Of course I'll change my opinion when I see how people here drive in the rain. You would think they would be experts.

This was the z06. Sold it in May:

And this was the ws6. Sold it a couple weeks ago before I came down here, but it's still in the family:

Not sure which one i liked more, honestly. They were all fun in their own little ways, the Cobalt especially. The z06 was just crazy fast, but it wears off especially as a commuter.

The ws6 was lowered on eibachs. Your silver cobalt looks pretty good, too. Word of caution, if you lower an f body and you have LT's, you're going to have the worst ground clearance. My stuff would scrape everywhere, especially speed bumps.
