because iirc after 06 they started using better short blocks or something in that area in the 2.4s making them able to handle more safely. with the amount of miles her car has and the year it is then it would def get way more risky to be on a 2.8

who said I was going to use a 2.8. And from what I heard, the 06 is stronger than the 07 and 08

im keeping it at 3.1 im not going to push my car until it breaks. Stock kit is good for me.

And I told him I found a cheaper kit. And it's the 3.4 stock. And I said 3.1 because that's what comes in the kit I looked at.

One of my friends did it.. And twooz ye I heard 06 2.4 can handle more power then 08 and I'm goin wit 2.8 on e-85 or 2.7

I think in rods n all that 06s are stronger but I was told to switch lower end or something to 07 cuz that parts stronger
