I don't see why you couldn't paint it just don't pour gas on it lol.

 

thats what i was planning i wanted to paint my valve cover i dont know about my sc i just bought 2 black engine enamel paint and one blue

 

But it's ugly winter fuel that's why I wanna waste it lol

Ehhh I don't like enamel paint. That's what I had on the supercharger before and didn't like it. I found some paint at Home Depot that I wanna try out.

idk if it was just me or what but i tried doing that when i first painted my sc and when i taped over the lines so i could spray over them the paint would come off with the tape. idk if its because it was enamel or what but it would come off in chips

no i meant the paint under the tape would start chipping....like you have to let it dry in order to tape it so that the blue will stay there and thats what i did and when i took the tape off while the top layer was still wet the bottom layer started chipping off
