The 07-09 are a weaker non forged rods. I have a 08 2.4 sitting in my drive way that had a rod thru the block running a stage two pulley and e. I did a 06 2.4 with a tvs on a 3.0 pulley and e with no problems.

Atleast I'm actually adding stuff to my car and having fun with it instead of just talking about something and never doing it...yeah it's been a headache but it sure is fun and I don't regret modding it. Random rants of frustration that I do are mostly because of school and work giving me no time to work on the car.
