Texas guys and gals, anyone interested in a group tune?

I am in Houston and have been talking to a really good tuner Steve or psykostevo. But he is willing to fly in and tune cars if we can get 4-5 or more guys together in the houston area. The only reason I am asking is because I want my car tuned bad but no one will touch it 08 cobalt ss/tc, I am going to buy hp tuners for my self and then just have him use my tuner for our cars to cut back cost. Anyone interested?

Got the price so far it would be $250 for cobalts that dont have the 2.2l.

No takers I'm telling you he is a good tuner, and i'm sure if we get more cars we can get it a little cheaper.

Edit** Steve wants to do thetuning on Oct the 4th.

THIS IS NOT JUST FOR COBALTS JUST ASK BEFORE HAND SO I CAN MAKE SURE HE CAN DO THAT CAR!

**EDIT** I can have a couple more 08/tc's and 1 more other car it seems the gmradster guys mostly bought computers.

UPDATE Price for cobalts is $250
1) James Humble 08 chevy cobalt ss/tc
2) Jose SW houston 05 2.0 cobalt ss/sc
3) Zach SW Houston 05 2.0 Cobalt SS/SC
4) Julio The Woodlands 08 gmc sierra 5.3.
5) joseph W-NW 08 chevy cobalt ss/tc
6) Richard DFW 08 chevy cobalt ss/tc
7) Chris Dickinson 08 chevy cobalt ss/tc
8) Freddy bello-mt pleasent 06 chevy cobalt ss/sc
9) Mario Houston 08 chevy cobalt ss/tc
10) Martin Houston 08 chevy cobalt ss/tc

Lets get some tunes done, only post your name if your 100% sure

I can't believe no one is wanting a custom tune for 300 this guy works for a company and just got done tuning a lnf I don't want to say his name for sake of arguments i dont want to be accused of trying to sell a product, I just want my car tuned and the only way he will do it is if I get more cars. I talked to him all day yesterday and he is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Alright so he cannot do the 2.2 unless its in a cavalier or sunfire, and just so you know Steve or as you may know him psykostevo is the tuner i'm talking about. I am working on getting the price cheaper by flying him in and putting him in a hotel with my frequent flyer miles but only if there are enough people. I hope i do not cause allot of trouble by posting his name but its the only way we will get enough people. I am hoping that by the 15th of Sept we can have enough for him to come in and custom tune all ours cars. By then I will have my own hp tuners with the 08 cobalt unlocked so I can probablly even get it cheaper than that for the 08's at least

I can vouch for him, he tuned my car and did a good job. Also jumped my mpg to 38-41 on the hwy! And thats with 60's.

Not saying it's impossible or anything, but I hear that tuning the lnf is rather tricky because of the direct injection system it has. Maybe you should try to jump on to some of the k-body sites and see what kind of tunes they use, just so you can get a feel of what kind of options there are besides HPT.

Well I have talked to Steve and also with me having hp tuners and having the 08 cobalts unlocked he will be able to help us out a little with log files to see what the car needs and why. Any tune for the lnf if still going to be in the beta stage right now and the lnf is tricky to tune no doubt there but steve also knows what he is doing and is willing to help.

What exactly does "tunning" your car mean? Do you have to have any mod's done to your car before you have it tunned?

No no mods needed it is just maximizing your computers efficiency, to make it all work together better this offers a good increse in power and sometimes fuel mileage.. I have no mods at this time just getting a tune, but as i upgrade my car I can update my tune also because I will have hp tuners of my own and can log it and send ithe log via email. I am currently working on a deal right now that may get the tunes down to around 250 but its not in stone yet and will also include updates for other cars. for more details just pm me and I will explain in full but I don't want to get anyones hopes up at the time.

Ok heres an update I am going to buy HPTUNERS on the 15th of Sept, Steve will charge $150 a car for the tuning then only other thing is you buy the credits, So for a cobalt its $150 for the tune and $100 for the credits meaning for $250 you can get a custom tune for your car. I am willing to fly him down and put him in a hotel at no cost to him and very little to me I'm talking about maybe 80 bucks all I ask is you help out a little on the 80 bucks if you can if not then i dont mind either but I need a head count so I know exactly how many cars there will be. The sooner the better, I will not buy any extra credits until the money is in hand just to protect myself. You can buy the credits literally minutes before you tune the car so we are good there as long as we have an internet connection so we may have to meet up at a starbucks or something along that line. The good thing about me having HPTUNERS is steve can work with us over the internet and maximize our tunes by doing log runs. Let me know what you guys think, I think its a very resonable price.

Hard to say right now I'm thinking where ever more cars are or maybe somewhere in the middle, hell we could even have a track meet or something along that line. I am available for what ever, if everyone cant meet up in one place maybe we can do 2-3 different places so everyone has a chance. O and BTW I just talked to Steve and he is planning early Oct to be down here that gives us time to find as many cars as possible Maybe if we get a crap load of cars we can get it even cheaper.MAYBE

Also if youput your name down can you put the year make model and engine so maybe I can get it even cheaper by unlocking unlimited year/make/models.

Just copy my example in the first post that would be helpful.

He can tune other cars as well I just have to run them by him to see if he will do that particular car so even if you have something other than a cobalt just post it and i will find out for you.

Here is alist of all the supported vehicles that can be tuned just let me know brfore hand because I have to run the cars by Steve to see if he has the knowledge to tune the specific one.

http://www.hptuners.com/products/vcmsuite_vehicles.php

As far as the 60lb injectors I am not sure on that one it might flod out the car or cause puddling but I really dont know.

I was thinking we could meet somewhere around minuite maid park becasue its close to pretty much all major highways and prety central.
