Well car is finally officially mine, had some confusion yesterday on financing. Not going to start modding to much yet, probably wait until next year or so. I do plan on yanking of the airbox and seeing if I can fabricate an adapter instead of cutting my box. Anyone around here done that?

you dont have to cut your box... when i get under my car this weekend (if my springs show up) i'll take some pics of what you can do. to put it simple you just take the bottom part of the box off and put a replacment filter where oem was. you do have to drill a small hole in the remaining part of tth ebox to tighten the new filter down but that's it. really not that dificult

just depends i'm in pretty much the bitch platoon since we're MPs in an MI unit. not to mention 1SG has a soft spot for us since we seem to do everything right.

Too bad all you guys are closer to the center of the state, there's about a billion Cobalts and SS S/C's here at Camp Lejuene. Well, a billion is an exageration, but besides mine I have seen at least 3 Cobalt SS S/C's and an ION Redline S/C. But like the guy from Cherry Point asked, you guys ever think about coming to the coast and checking the beach out. I'm quite sure we can drum up some action over here if you guys can make it out. MP's huh, bet you don't get bothered on base.

Just out of curiousity do you guys ever see a red Audi with the front license plate reading "BITURBO" at the track? I think one of the guys in my shop goes to Fayettville and races at the track.

Nice thing about living north of post near anderson creek, not many cops on the back roads so I can open it up some. Haven't really got into it yet though waiting until I am at least over 500 miles.......

Go with the 3.0 it is as small as you can go with stock injectors. Understand the little more pull, mine is about to hit 500 finally so it is starting to pull more and I'm sure I will be into it more.

i'm not sure i know there is one guy with a black SS that is always at the mall i dont know if he works there or what but it has a bragg sticker on it. I tried talking to him once and he didn't really seem all that interested about cars or anythign like that. or maybe it wa cause i'm a guy who knows.

i know i probally shouldn't have but i pulled pretty hard on the red s4 with the "biturbo" plates. he did jump on me pretty hard on take off but i pulled at about a gain of 7 mph on him after that.

I know the Black SS/SC your talkin about, no mods.. i talked to him at DQ one day and he was just like nope its just stock, but seem like he was going to do anything with it.. its nice and clean though.. and there is nothin better than a Clean Black Car

might not be the same one then the one i usually see at the mall is always dirty. i saw some old guy driving a black sssc that had stickers all over it on butner it was a sad day.

this guy was 50's easy. i doubt you're that old. anyway where is everyone at??? i saw the cops running everyone off every where i went last night. i guess some shooting or somthing stupid had somthign to do with it.
i think today i just sit by the pool.
