if that is aimed at Jskip, he has a blue 350Z('07ish) with some black Konigs and Projector headlights

I thought he was Mitchell the other night, so I kind of went WOT beside him the other night, way too much traffic to run, that is just the turbo way of revving, lol... boost up, blow off

and Josh what is the name/location of this new dyno? I have some other people interested

Going to try and call them again Monday, Wes ( guy with the 5.0 ) called them last week and left a message and I emailed them. I really want to get the graphs so I can post them up even though they were (happy dyno) graphs they still give a good baseline the difference between a gms1 tune and trifecta.

You know my opinion on the matter. And ill say this, if a girl is worthless in the beginning or at anytime becomes worthless, they're probably going to be a clincher and never change their ways.

the rest of the week is going to be a trip... myself and some other members of the Apprentice Mafia have a cabin rented up in Counce, Tn. on Pickwick Lake for the rest of this outage... its going to suck drinking that much beer and getting up at 6:30 in the morning... lol

we have a trip to a strip club planned for the last night as well, should be an eventful week... not much of a vacation considering we'll be working 12 hours shifts(started today on that), but it beats working 12s and having to drive a couple of hours(which I did today)...

we got a pretty good group of guys renting it though so we should be able to make the best out of an otherwise crappy situation(working a ton of hours)...

hey guys long time no talk. i was quite busy getting ready for my trip to the desert.
and just started reading this thread again

hhr im really interested in you BNR turbo and waiting to see the out come. do u have a build thread or something on here or the hhr forum?

and i don't know if you guys were aware or not but i was having a lot of car problems so i called "the company" and went at it with them for a couple weeks their suggested fix was me trading the car in getting what ever the dealer would offer me for trade and they would throw some cash on top of it toward the purchase of a new gm. so i took the car in to the dealer at the time the car had 16k on it, the dealer knew my situation because gm called him and told him i was coming up there. so he tried to **** me in the ass no lube, he offered me 9k i literally LOL'd and well to make a long story short i got kicked off the lot. so i had mi final straw and got a lawyer and filled a breach or warranty again long story short im 4500 bucks richer after lawyer fee and such so if you have problems with your car don't be afraid to pursue it.

I bought the Z from a guy named Corey Hearn, He works at designers graphics. I love the car. It's crazy how many people wanna race me when im just driving along normally lol. Only had it since late December and I can't even count how many ricers think they wanna race me. I don't doubt your SS/TC is faster than it, but it's the fastest, most well rounded car I've ever owned. Last year we were out at Autozone on Flo Blvd nearly every Saturday Night. Can't wait for the meets to start back up, I drove thru there Sat night and saw a few Mustangs, a corvette and several S-10 Lowrider Douche there

No build up posts, but I will tell you this, it was straight forward putting the new turbo on, time consuming but straight forward. I definetly picked up mid range to top end power.
The hardest thing of the whole ordeal was getting the BOV set up correctly, not tuning wise but where to actually hook up the vacuum lines correctly so the BOV would work correctly.
I won't have any real numbers till I either get my G-tech set up or the dyno meet.

Grats on bending GM over and giving it to them, thats what they get for not giving you
a reach around the first time around

Unless your heavily modified regular Z or own a HRZ model or higher, his SS/TC > Z. Just go out and race him one day.

A lot of people have the misconception that the SS/TC is just another GM car, but its really a well rounded street legal race car (minus the fwd), seriously.

I can't wait till you get some number HHR , that is one reason I haven't gotten a BNR yet because I'm waiting on the numbers outcome from the first batch of people buying them. I also want to see some trap times from a cobalt with a 2860 and 2871 , before I decide what I want. I just don't say anything because I know people have trouble getting things set up and I just wait patiently , no use trying to hound someone about something.

I am getting married in June so I have to keep at least 3k at all times *extra* in my bank account for the damn honey moon cruise we are taking so I am just going to wait and some some numbers before I jump on a BNR turbo.

Josh your girlfriend sounds like a free loader , if so need to drop the dead weight :P , if not disregard what i just said ha ha ha.

Well the BNR GT2860 is definetly easier to install, but everyone that has one that has posted thus far, has some kind of kink to work out.
All of us with the BNR GT2871 that have posted have our turbo's up and running that I know of.
As far as the BOV for the BNR GT2871, I ordered a BOV with flange (Tial Q w/ 8psi spring), traced out the flange hole on my Dejon Upper Intercooler Pipe, cut the hole out and took it to a local welder to weld the flange on.
You don't need a MAF relocate, but the further away imo you put the the BOV from the turbo on the hotside pipe the better.
I mounted mine in a good spot away from the turbo but had easy access to it if I need to do maitenence on it.

Keep in mind that Vince has my tune turned down a little for the BNR GT2871 till I get a new clutch to handle the power. He told me the challenge after the clutch with new tune would be putting the power to the ground
^^^ To me thats pretty impressive considering, I know I'm making more mid and upper range power and the tune hasn't fully unleashed the potential of the GT2871.
