Outside of my house about 1-3 miles away, we knew it was coming but storm tracker showed it North of us which it was, we didn;t even get no rain out of it.

 

yeah I'm like due West of you, so usually what we get, you guys get... except April 27th, it had that hook to it and somehow completely missed us for the most part, I mean we got some damage, but nothing like 20 miles south of us(Hackleburg)


also anyone known when Steele opens? our local track opened last Thursday(I didn't go because I have class on Thursday but our class is moving to Tuesday night for the rest of the year March 20th)... couple guys I know went and ran though so I do know it opened

 

oh yeah just for the record.... a lesson in life I learned last night

I can't complain right now, enjoying working these 4/10s... still getting a full paycheck, have 3 days off every week, can't beat that... I figure about the time the car meet season starts we'll kick off working a ridiculous amount of hours, lol

 

oh yeah, the LCD screen on my phone died like Tuesday, it came in today, but I got to go buy a precision t3 Torx screwdriver tomorrow to replace it.... so if you texted me any this week, I wasn't being an ******* and not replying... I can't see any menus, lol... I CAN answer the phone, only because I know how to unlock it by hand(not sight, lol) and know where to answer and end the call... that is why I know its the LCD screen, the phone itself works perfect, I can unlock it, put it on vibrate, answer it, etc...

I've been trying to tell everyone that the reason I haven't been answering text is because my phone is pretty much down, and for example if it rings and I can't get to it... I have no idea WHO just called, lol... its like the damn stone age

should be interesting when I finally get it up and going... the warranty on it was up by 8 days(yeah, 8 f***ing days) and I cancelled my insurance because I'm really not that rough on phones, this is the 1st issue i've ever really had with one... so I decided to pocket that $15/month... but with that being said, the screen was a $18 part, so I mean, other than the labor, i'm not going to be out much anyway, and if I had to send it off for replacement, i'd be without a phone LONGER anyway

it really wasn't much of a fight, dude cheap shotted me(and we weren't arguing or anything, I wasn't even talking to him)... I think he thought his friend and myself were about to get into it, but we were just bull shi**ing around not saying anything serious... dude comes out no where and hits me in the face for no damn reason... I grabbed him by his throat with my left hand and start swinging with my right... he was swinging away as well, and I shoved him back trying to push him into the couch, but he kind of hit the pool table and we ended up knocking it unlevel in our scrap, already told Aimee i'd fix it this week sometime, lol... after that everyone kind of separated us... I still wanted to beat the guys ass and like I told them... if he ever shows back up over there... i'm not saying a damn word... i'm hitting the f*cker in the face, f*ck a cheap shot he gave me all he had with me not having any adrenaline or anything... I took it like a champ and threw his ass

so I took his cheap shot, now I want to see him take one from me


(sh*t like that is why I need to quit drinking, and I just bruised my knuckles, didn't actually break the skin, lol)

i'm all for fighting fair and think cheap shots are a bi*ch move, but no doubt about, next time I see... I don't care if its at the damn library, lol... i'm not even going to say a word to him... its all fun and games when you do this kind of crap in a bar to someone you'll never see again, when you do it to someone who has the same mutual friends as me, well, they all know what i'm going to do the next time I see his ass... I've already told Aimee if he's there this weekend you better either call me and tell me not to show up, tell him to leave, or anchor down your pool table, lol

On a side note I did score a catless dp for $45.00 lolol. Might swap out my spun metal CIA catted 3" dp for the catless one not sure yet. If not I'll probably keep it for awhile then sell it since after losing twice this weekend I convinced my wife that I indeed need a new upgraded turbo lol. Just need the money now >.<. Plus I'm going to get James to tune me soon just to see the difference.

Anyone here near mobile? My girlfriends dad just got a job at thyssum krupp so their whole family Is moving there in June. I was considering going too. I'm sick of having winters. Lol how do you guys like mobile if you live there?

 

I don't know of anyone who posts regularly from the Gulf, but the weather down there kicks ass....except for the occasional Cat 5 Hurricane, lol

 

Lol I hear it's pretty sweet there. Her dad has been there since October so he's been there a while. They had to wait for her two younger sisters to graduate this year though to move. Ill probably go check it out this summer sometime. I was mad though because they went there in December and it was freezin ***** here and 70 there. I hate the snow so it's really tempting.
