Yes those "cars" he ran were on our basic tunes from Levi and Drew. Ask larson where his NEW tune came from!

Yes it is a problem, he doesn't know what he is doing... Not knocking him but he "really" should leave his HPT cable alone!

I dunno, it's not getting air flow for one... full intake, charge pipes, downpipe he was getting 31 lbs/min MAX airflow.... me with just a K&N filter was getting 33-34lbs.... with my "shortram" intake got 35-37lbs/min.

His boost drops off from 5000+ rpms (in second gear only apparently)... kpa drops from 240 to 220-219.

I am at a loss... looked at logs can't figure anything out!

hmmm....well your getting the airflow I am usually getting. I still can't figure out your 33+ lbs/min...but haven't had a problem with the boost dropping as such. Nothing TM related? What about boost leaks through the charge pipes?

If it were a boost leak, it would be present at any RPM and any gear. It's only 2nd... and only 5000+ rpm.

Dunno about the airflow, you just suck! Yeah, I am getting into the 37-38+ range now. I know of someone who is getting close to 40!

people pushing more than 30-31lb/min are skewing the mas air way too much. the turbo itself does not flow more than 31lbs on a good day. keep this in mind.

matt, i have all 09's unlocked. so if you need help with one lemmie know

It's all a unit of restriction, and finding that fine line for spool, and flow is key!
Once again it isnt backpressure, it is velocity, check the cobbtuning websites. they are helpful in explaning it, Especially when they go into exhaust design and restriction.

Good to hear, we should go to the track sometime... and leave your car unattended long enough for me to jack your coilovers.

Yes I agree... but most people on here understand the word backpressure which is why I use it...

Oh I liked the springs just not the nose up look, I was gonna cut a coil off the front but dont want my shocks to blow. Honestly it is odd, on my 17's the nose up was more apparent than when I rock my steelies.

What up what up, it's been awhile since i have been on...Update on the GTI though.....

Just ordered a 42DD 3"Turboback for the GTI, haven't decided where i want to go with on the tuning end yet, Debadged the entire thing, badge less grille, Forge MS Black BOV...sounds nice. Thinking here shortly with a nice big turbo swap and some new software, but don't know, software alone can get 220 out of the car, turbo swap stage 1+ get me around 245-250 but haven't decided yet..... Still need a nice FMIC but don't know yet what i wanna do....
