Hey all,
My name is Adam Ballreich. We have a cobalt club up in southern VA. We use to have a guy from N.C. come up and join us a lot so i thought i would do the same and see if there was one in N.C. yet. If its cool, when i get back from deployment i wouldnt mind coming down to hang out w/ you guys. Here is what i got
2005 Victory Red LS w/ sport package
Visual Mods: Drifter 2 body kit (in the process of going back to stock w/ RKSport Lip Kit); a set of 20"x8" RC-5 chrome rims for show and a set of 17"x7.5" Urban Racing Type 8 rims for all other uses; Recovered Door inserts w/ red vinyl; Racing seats; Gauge overlay; Lambo Doors; SS carbonfiber hood; Halo projectors; LED tails and LED 3rd brake light;
Performance Mods: STS stage 3 turbo kit; Poly trany mounts; B&M shift plus electronics; simmens 60# injectors; 2.4L intake manifold; AEM pod gauges; dyno'd at 258whp @ 10psi

i use to have a forged motor that had stage 1 comp cams in it, but the number 4 cyl rod bearing failed and now building a second forged motor.

Yes, You are definately welcome to come down and hang out. I was thinking of getting another meet together. This time at the Fayetteville MSP so we could run 1/4 miles or at Rockingham. I would like to get a good look at the STS system anyways. That is what I plan on doing in the future with a GT35r or a small GTK.
cool, its still going to be a while before i get back... i wont be back until the end of september and ill be heading to michigan to visit my parents and friends... i dont know much about N.C. so if there is a track that is open down there at the begining of october that would be sweet. I haven't ran the 1/4 with the turbo kit on it yet.
the STS is kinda nice, no power right off the line so i dont spin at all for a crappy launch and you start to feel the boost around 2200rpms or so, and full boost around 3800-4200rpms.
the turbo on my kit is a hybrid t60-1 hiflow w/ ceramic ball bearings with a 3 stage compressor and flows 786cfm's and can produce a maximum of 30psi

We need another big NC meet. im hoping the next big NC meet is Hot Import Nights. We all head out friday night or something then party and crash there for HIN on saturday
Thanks
i did the doors my self and it took 2 1/2 hours just to do one door. i had to take the fender off and make modifications with my dremal tool. pretty much had to cut a 2 inch by 18 inch strip out of the metal to get the hinges to close, also had to cut the same size strip out of the plastic wheel well so the door would drop and close. its def not for the faint harted to do and i need to get a professional to finish it up for me because im still having a slight issue with getting the door to seal shut by the front wheel.
