theres nothing else to do to mine not putting a new turbo i have all dejon ic pipe with maf relocation and synapse bov 3 inchturbo back no cats no muffler with cut out, dejon intake gauge pod with gauges, carbon spoiler getting carbon hood here shortly. custom made headlight with the audi r8 led going down the side for blinkers

That would be my guess.... I didn't tune him thats for sure! LOL
Hell I shops around here asking me to tune these cars for them now... it's great (or atleast asking me questions about them)

oh yea how could i of ran a maf relocation without a tune had to do that the first day for a datalog car wouldnt hardly stay cranked much less drive.

All vince has done is TRICKED your PCM into doing things that it shouldn't do. IE: more boost (its out of it's efficiency range at 23psi) so all your doing is creating excess heat.
So you have your fans on.... cool I never go over 190 anyway... it's called replacing some of your standard fluid with distilled water and water wetter and I have a better cooling system anyway.
I use HPTuners, have been using it since the better part of 2006.
Vince tricks the car into making more fuel pressure... but doesn't use it... Tunes the cars stupid rich, causing excess RICH knock, and premature piston failure..
Check the blown #1 thread..... PRETTY much every car there is Trifecta. Why, because they are stupid rich, or running around blowing super heated air at pressure into the cylinders.
Both of which are just as bad. I make reliable, STOUT power.
Now I think what Vince has done is great, but is going about it in the wrong way. He asked me about being a beta tester for the infiniboost and infinifuel stuff about 5 months ago... but me and another friend told him NO.
WHY, well for 2 reasons, especially once I figured out he was just tricking the PCM into doing things, I would much rather have it done as a purpse... Like commanding 2300psi instead of making the computer think it's only getting 800psi so it gets the 2300 by adding extra pressure. Tricking the MAP sensors by "telling them" your only at 6psi so it'll add the extra PSI to make the 30psi or whatever.
But to each their own.... as soon as HPT opens up the rest of the parameters, people will be saying Trifecta-who?
yea i got you i tell him to lean my some because i have a air fuel w its like 12.9 i believe but im not one of thos guys just because i have trifecta its the best you no i just been using him forever thats why he good treated me wheel with all the crap i keep changing, we all need to meet up one day like to check your car and tune out

however what I am gathering from what Matt is saying is that instead of vince writing the tables, he is just adjusting voltage values to the sensors so the ECU is actually seeing lower than what it supposed to....there was a common mod on the J-Body cars where putting the right resistor in the IAT sensor tricked to the computer into seeing a lower air temperature therefore making the car run a bit richer...also giving you that "peak torque" although nobody ever dynoed that resistor...that mod is the "typical speed chip" you see on ebay....another mod that is floating around the VW community is the "clamping the MAP" mod which involves using a zener diode to make the MAP Sensor see a lower manifold pressure therefore upping the boost pressure....
so basically Vince is taking the ideals of these physical mods and putting them in a logical form in the ECU...in which case....I can take VAG-COM the VW diagnostic software and do that and call it "tuning"....
Matt, that is a sweet Sig block hahaha
