I have seen a few different cobalts riding around up here but I dont know if any of you guys are members?

 

Some of the J body's from Ocala meet up every so often.

 

When did you see them?

I was at Gander off of I-75 on Wednesday. And I have been to The Oaks Mall a time or 2. I usually pass through on I-75 on my way up to Lake City so you've prolly seen me.

I have seen your car before when I came out to one of the meets in old town a while back.

I know who owns one red ss/sc in gainesville but ive also seen a black and silver ss/sc up here and also another red base model cobalt with the grill bar blacked out and a painted bowtie.

Im a student at the University of Florida and its hard for me to get away for some of the meets in orlando and south florida so id like to find some people more local to meet up with every now and then.

 

I have a Victory Red SS/TC in Ocala. I've seen one orange SS/SC around town once or twice, but thats about it.

 

Thats cool, I wish there were more guys around here so we could meet up every now and then. Its not that much fun to work on your car by yourself and never get to show it off!!
I ordered the zzp stage 3 today so that will be my project coming up.

 

I couldn't agree more...I'm going to be tryin to go to the track here shortly as I just got my GMS1 and DP. Maybe we could me up at the track sometime.

 

That sounds good, my car will be down for a couple weeks because im sending my core to get zzp's tune and plus ill be doing the install on and off between classes but let me know.

 

I've been in Gainesville for about 5 years now, just got a black 04 Ion RL in December so I was looking for meet-ups or anything in the area. Let me know if you ever want to get together Haven't done anything to the car yet, but over the next few months I'll be doing some work on it. Also have access to a top notch machinist in the family, so if you need any fab work done for a good/fair price let me know!

 

Nice, finally someone here from gainesville. I know a couple other ss/sc's in gainesville but they never want to meet up. Where are you in gainesville? I live off of 62nd by the oaks mall. If you see a silver ss/sc with black rims and a gator head on the back thats me!

 

Would this be the black RL that I have seen twice on 441 in Ocala? High rise and rims I think. If it is you, I know you saw me the other day when we were going opposite ways, but I have been behind you once before as well....I thought it had a georgia tag the first time, I may be wrong though.
