i am thinking procharged myself to add to the 2.3l stroker. i already have plans for the stroker kit as i want to drive all the way to zzp and have them install it since they created it, they know what needs to be done to make it work. its a 2-3 day trip so a weeks of vacation would be needed to make it there and back.

is anyone comin down to state capital dragway (in baton rouge) for H.I.N. ?? next sunday october 4th

You can build your own stroker block for MUCH cheaper than you can buy that block from ZZP.

I promise.

yes u could but alot of people that have done that has had many problems with it and alot of threads are saying that its not worth it. besides i would never get it done if i build one myself. i would deffinately get it done if i took a vacation and drove my ass to zzp and had them put it in.

Either do the striker your self or have them do it. As it would he harder than you think as the stroker kit has no bigger pistons than stock. Whole diferent bottom end and case to allow the larger rotation I'd the crank. You probably would not save your self that much
money. I dunno Dustin cars + 2 car trailer + dads duramax = best road trip ever.

bout time i found someone to take a ride there with. lol... thats a nice drive there and back and i know there are LOTS of strip joints, hookers, and bars along the way!!!!!!! of corse when i do the stroker kit i am doing the whole motor as gettin forged pistons, stage 3 port/polished heads, new springs. basically a whole new motor.

Take a 2.4l block and bolt it to your LSJ head. Upgrade crank shaft, sleeve the block, get better rods, pistons, rings, etc. See what happens.

Thats my plan. Just drive this and by the time i get out of school and make some money it will be ready for a rebuild anyway.

2.4 block is diferent than the stroker. The stroker is the same size pistons. Same bore just longer stroke.

If your going to reslieve the block you might as well go big bore you could end up with a 2.6 liter with the stroker crank.
