If you want to loose weight fast and are just looking to loose around 20-30lbs try the "master cleanse diet", I would say it is a fast since you dont have any solid food just liquid. You have 1 ounce grade b maple syrup, 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice and about 1/10 teaspoon cayenne pepper to every 8 ounces of water. Just drink that about 6-8 times a day and dont eat anything, it will detox your body and you will feel better than ever after. I lost about 10-12 pounds in 4 days. Just good "Master Cleanse Diet" or "Beyonce Diet" and you will see what I am talking about.
When I cut for a fight. I stick to a high protein, low carb diet. The carbs you do eat should be slow digesting (whole wheat, whole grain, etc). Run religiously, especially right when you wake up before you eat ANYTHING. This, along with sprints will burn the most fat. I don't know how much you weigh now, but I was taking in about 1200 calories/day in order to get below 170 (I'm usually 180-185). Oh, and take in as much fiber as possible. This will help your digest slower for a steady drip of energy throughout the day. PEACE.
