I might be going out to sonic. We need to do a cobalt cruise to fernandina or something one day this summer. It would be a lot of fun

man the cops were crazy satruday...they were just posted right across the street atleast 8 of em bike cops and regular ones....they were pulling people over for everything from speeding to blinkers to ******* exhaust tickets. They even pulled over a bum on a bike for drinking and driving hahahaha. Sonic=. we really need to move to another spot ASAP

 

Sounds like it was a good thing the cops were there. When cops are around people seem to behave and not do stupid carp (like burnouts etc....) As long as they were not kicking people out for no reason it would be nice if the cops hung out across the street.

 

oh yea i dont mind cops at all im actually going to school for criminal justice and would like to work for JSO but the problem i had the other night were the really stupid tickets like exhaust tickets. they were finding any reason to pull anybody over thats why i didnt like them there. but if the cops did what the cop does at the argyle meet and just sits there and talks to people im all for that b/c im not burning out or being stupid so i really dont care if cops are there.

every saturday around the same time as sonic....I havent been out there in awhile though but i like that meet alot more than sonic but its just really far for me and my friends

 

yeah... sonic's pretty damn convenient for me. i'll have to plan to go out there at some point.

 

Sonic is fun to go up to, eat and then leave after an hour. All the idiot honda's drivers and ricers in general get so annoying with their burnouts and loud music. I only go up there once a month or so.

 

Argyle is a ricey part of the hangout, I go out there prob every sat just to ride by, even though at like 1 in the morning they trailer old 5.0 Mustangs over there and race them on Argyle in front of Publix

 

hmm guess things have changed then because argyle used to be alot better than the old BJ's meets. people used to just chill by that walgreens and pizza place and the cop just stood ther and talked to people it was pretty cool the couple times i went out but hey every spot ends up getting riced out its just inevitable

 

I know what you mean. truly they are doing there job. There is laws about exhaust and the ticket is correct. Not saying I agree with them. They do this ever so often to prove a point, thing is no one really gets the point. One of the main reason I only go out once a month.

 

Ahh we need a HUGE Florida meet one of these days and it needs to be in Jville so I dont have to drive far haha

The drive to a meet is the best part!!! You guys should try to make it to the Fl GM sportcompact meet in Orlando next month. Should be a good time. We had 3 Cobalt SS/SC last year and they all took trophies home.

 

Yeah I was out by the argyle meet a few weeks back and it was more like a scene out of Hot Import Nights with some muscle thrown in. Lots of burn out smoke and Fast and Furious kids hanging out.


Usually when I cruise by the Sonic there does not seem to be the same level of stupidity I have seen out at Argyle but maybe i am just there at the wrong times...


You would think that if you come out to run.... then dont attract the police attention!!! But thats just my silly way of thinking.
