tampa bay area mechanic

I'm needing new front brakes and I was wondering should i just take it to the dealer or is tires plus good enough or is there a good mechanic out there that does a good job and put on the pads I want on the car?

Also, what pads would you recommend? I'm at 80% wear at 35k miles

Dumas tires in Lutz. there good people been around along time and theyll put on whatever you bring them. Also right down the road from Ramsey performance they build sick mustangs.
