I think i may buy one, I dont think there are any local dealers in the area, well that I know of. I will have to look in to that. I hope my car doesnt knock on 91..

So hows your car running nowadays? Interested in a meet sometime soon?

100 Octane or even more than 94 will do you no good unless you have built internals and a higher compression, such as the new forged pistons from wiesco for our LNF and such. I've had many cars tuned including my own, cars with stock internals and cars with highly built internals on varying levels of octane and only the cars with the built engines benefited... Infact, anything over 94 oct in our LNF will actually lower performance to the level of 90 octane fuel....

Dont waste the $$$ on high octane, it's not worth it in a LNF without the internal upgrades and compression change if you know ANYTHING about engines and racing....

In fact, we've tried to tune my SS\TC with a mix to 93 octane and 95 octane: No hp gain what so ever.....

Even a race tune will not net you more than 3-5 hp which is nothing in the real world or on a track.....

That tune that Trifecta sells is not worth the effort either... Pls, 25-28 psi!? might happen but won't last long on these cars......

Anyone in the phx area got the trifecta tune? Ill run ya with my run-of-the-mill hpt 21-23 psi tunes, I bet I beat ya no problem.........2-5 more lbs of boost is over stressing the turbo and you loose power.... Anyone up for the challenge in the PHX area with the infiniboost tune or what ever they call it at trifecta?

Most logical statement in this thread. Unless you're tuned for it....it's USELESS.

Probably, but not necessarily. I would at least find someone that can do some datalogging on your car to see how it takes to the 91, and go from there. If it knocks, you may have to dial back the timing a bit.
