Arizona BS Thread
Ok cool. I'll do that when I got home. The virus came from one of my classmates i think. We were working in a group for a project and her computer crashed like a week ago. She doesn't have norton or any anti virus software. We sent files back and forth through e-mail for this project, So I'm assuming that's where it came from. Norton went through and deleted a bunch of **** yesterday. Mostly temp files.
It shouldnt blow, its a built motor.
Oh and I like you cat pee reference of our gas.

Tyler, this is what you wanna do.
1) Click on start (Blue circular windows logo in bottom left corner)
2) Go to "All Programs"
3) Click "Accessories"
4) Next go to "System Tools" (It will be a folder inside of "Accessories")
5) Now select "System Restore" (You'll find it after you are under the "System Tools" folder)
6) A System Restore Wizard will pop-up
7) Select "Next"
8) Now it will give you a few options to choose from; keep in mind windows creates restore points when you do altering activities such as removing a program, installing a program, downloading/installing a Windows Update from MS, etc.
I would suggest selecting a restore point that the day PRIOR to your tango with the virus. Also make note that whatever work that you have done AFTER got the virus will be deleted once you select a given restore point.
For example;
10/01 Windows Update
10/13 Virus Attack
10/14 Essay for Auto Class Completed
So with that example lets say you restore to the date of 10/01/10. Whatever work you have done from the 1st - 14th will be deleted. So backup what you want to keep.
If done correctly you will have a computer that is running fine prior to you watching naughty stuff on the comp hence the virus lol

PS: I tried to make this process very n00b-proof, sometimes I forget people don't know the lingo when it comes to computers

Random B.S. I'm starting to really want e85. Richie, you think Vince will retune me for e85?
Depending on the virus it may or may not work. If it does, sweet. If not, there are other steps. If the virus attacked your antivirus software then use a java based internet antivirus such as trend-micro. You can go to their website and click on the house-call link, and have them scan your computer remotely. It's typically a very good way to get rid of viruses, mal-ware, etc.
plus its kind of hard to explain or to work on when I'm not physically on the computer :/
my stupid ass computer was sending links on messenger and facebook for viruses all i did was creat a new user account and it works flawless, might want to consider that before restoring

I was just giving an example. I am sure the LSJs and the 2.2s have similar issues.
