The l61's come with a horrible pe delay from the factory is that what you're seeing Chris?

 

Not completey sure yet. It works when he mashes the gas to 100% but we were messing with it and he hit 16 psi at about 65% throttle, which I told PE to enable way before that, and it did not. I have completely changed all of the stock pe delay/enable.

I am just worried about the knock at that load since it still wants to be at 14.7 since he didnt hit PE... I am looking into now...

 

The way these ECU's work(at least on Vince's garbage tune) is if the MAP see's any positive pressure in the manifold,it goes into PE mode.I notice that on mine and Tylers.I can be in 5th,put it at 1 PSI, and A.F.R.'s will drop to 10.5:1 unless I punch it then it then it leans out to 11.5ish and creeps up to about 11.8ish by 7200.It sucks havnig "diesel status" when just passing a Prius.But I think they get the point when my black cloud hits them in the nose

 

Thats weird.I think Vince pulled all PE delay out on his tunes.

 

That's probably something Vince writes into the tune then, Chris is having the opposite issue. Just gotta figure out why the computer isn't listening to what Chris is yelling at it

Ya these ECU's are ******* weird.I talked to Vince a bit about tuning them.Maybe thats why HPT took so long to crack em open lol

 

That and they didnt think cobalt owners would get so pissed about not having any support and finally got their **** together haha

Yes that is what Tyler was telling me, which is a garbage way to tune. Passing someone would be very difficult then without giving it more to lean it out...

I got it to where he can be in boost and not go into PE which will give you power to pass at very part throttle I just need to make it engage at anything above like 7-8 psi to save the motor from knocking.

I also got his DFCO to work correctly and not peg 10 afr

Oh and I'm assuming they didn't know how to drive stick, I left the car in 1st gear. I woke up to this and a locked steering column with my car in neutral and parking brake off. Car had trouble starting and now I have a CEL.

Damn, that seems super high! My original license fee was about that much, but this year it was only 237 (can't believe I've had this thing 3 years already!). The tax portion goes down 15% each year from the original amount. (which is based off some overly-complicated formula tied to the car's purchase price)

 

Why they didn't steal my stereo and **** in my gas tank, maybe slash all my leather interior and bust out every window I dunno. Dent the hell out of my car, break my lights, slash my tires. That would've been awesome! I'd have a new car, but instead I gotta pay out of pocket to replace my window and any other damages on my car. I guess I never opted to get glass coverage, which I could've sworn I did but It's too late to switch it now.

 

I can't wait to pay less than 200 bucks for tags haha, Justin they did the same thing with my car minus the glass they just ruffled everything around and stole my ipod and that's it left the ps3 and everything pretty weird. Left the rpd too lol

 

I pay 82 a year for tags. LOVE IT! After reading this thread, I think i am gonna go with a chris tune and not a vince tune.
