oh no i was thinking of sending the ecu to CA but i lost faith in them and if i send it to them and i get the ecu a year later i rather just pay someone to come and tune the car
how much do the hpt cost i might just buy the and have someone email me a tune
well im going to work now but yea thanks for the help i guess ill wait till i put the parts come in and ill drive to a performance shop hopefully i dont get charged and arm and a leg cause i was going to pay 50 dollars to get everything installed all i was going to need was a tune

when i left the dyno that day i did have stevo tune on my car and tyler, tyler, and i just played around on the streets back to tylers house i deff felt a difference especially since stevo have my westgate set at 66% up top. cris switched it back to terms tune when i left for my class. but when steve and i did our run the other day i was on term tune at only 10-11 degrees of timing. would like to see what my car will do now that i have meth.

That sucks man. I wish I knew what could be wrong other than the maf went bad.
So I just filled up with E85. Holy crap! I hit 24 degrees of timing in 100 degree heat with no meth. Its pure sex. Mid range feels really powerful too!
Have you seen Nicks dynos? Put down way more than a 2.7 meth SC car could. The race was from a 40 roll its all in the cars abilities. I dont really care though. You can have a "professional" tune you, like trifecta, and have a TC cobalt with more boost, a larger turbo setup, and fuel options and a "HPT Tuned" TC cobalt will lower boost a smaller turbo setup, with no fuel options run neck and neck.
I dont know why this turned into a pissing match.

I'm guessing you are talking about Tyler and Nick's race?
Remember too that no car is the same... But I do hear what you're saying
Maybe because you got mad that I suggested Trifecta and have a professional tune it? He does do it for a living... Just saying.
I've never had my car knock before on any tune of Vince's and I saw Nick's car that day at the dyno and felt bad when it had 5* of knock. I would just prefer the safer tune over the one that might make my engine blow, even if that means being slower.
PM sent.
I just did a pull in second to 7600 rpm! Holy crap! All I can say is I miss my car. I am going to bump the timing and play around with it to feel the best results. I got a little work to do on the trims but she is alive! No knock on 24 degrees! It is awsome. Now if I could do something about those damn IAT2's.
Good call Nick! You will get a ride once you find your boost leak or MAF problem. We need to put the old tune on, before meth, disconnect the meth, and see what the trims are. If they are still whacky then we need to hunt for the leak.
Hey Steve: Can your wide band be switched to E85? The range is from like 6.5-10.5 ARF's. (<- that was a guess)
yah yah... Well I had about 3/16 tank left and was trying to burn it so I can put the fuel in. So I drove for an hour and thirty minutes on the surface streets trying to waste it. (I got some good log numbers
) So I finally went up there and the lights were off in the little shop, the overhangs from the pumps lights were off on the 385 side. I was like ****! So I pulled up and put my card in and it still let me pump.

That blows.
So I just looked at my duty cycle on my injectors. At 7600rpm on a 2.8" pulley I am at 79% duty cycle. That is close to accurate for now since I still have to fix the trims and pull some fuel so it maybe decrease to up to 5%. I need to get a WB installed so I can tune this accurately.

Sorry to hear Nick!

its not the maf most likely a boost leak somewhere
I say you get 80's, then get a tvs, then get sleeves and pistons to go along after the increase in pressure grenades your car.

Yah Nick, more than likely it is. The car is trying to compensate for the Rich conditions and cant so it shuts the MAF down.

Mine is at a WOT AFR of 11.0. Again that is a guess of what its really at since I dont have a WB. If we increase the AFR to about 11.3 then drop your rev limit to 7k, (which should still have you in power band when you shift) some meth and lots of water... We may get away with it but it may push it. Then if it doesnt work then you will have to take it eassy till you fill up with 91 again and re tune.

Check to make sure that pipe is tight then check the fitting. Sorry man we were both concerned about tapping that pipe due to it being circular and the fitting being flat.
