Probably time for me to get the blue tooth dongle for my Torque app since my boost gauge just took a dump today. The stock boost gauge is fluttering all over the place and sticking.

Not sure if Torque reads KR on the LNF. You may need to create a custom gauge to find it. When I first got the app it would not work...there's a gauge for it, it just doesn't get useful data. Of course, that may have changed as I haven't tried in a while.

Were you using the free version or torque pro.It wouldnt read kr on mine with torque lite, but with torque pro it reads.

My valves came in today so headwork and head assembly starts tomorrow.Still waiting for shipping on rod bearings, and head studs and I;m good to go on full assembly .Got the Navigator to 21 mpg btw.Found a large vacuum leak from a cracked elbow, cleaned the K&N filter, and the MAF.She's happy tank now.
Damn 21mpg thats alot better then the 7mpg it was getting before

So do you think all this is going to get you into the 12s ?

Yah if that. Lots of decel and mild boost will seat those ring good!

That is what I did and I was getting 180 across the board...

you are lower compression then me though. so mine should be a tad higher.Im doing your light trick for the valves.Workin out good Im very impatient for my bearings.I want to get the block assembled

Maybe... Nicks car is the same as mine and his comp. is 165, I think, across the board. My piston to wall clear was cut perfect along with the rings for high boost applications. 180 PSI is good for a built motor!

Good! Gotta do it right. If you see light spend the money and drop it off so you get no valve leakage and awesome compression! Make sure you atleast plastigauge the bearings.. Make sure the clearances are within spec.

165 PSI is still good for a built motor.
