Your car does run! Now driving...that's a tad different.Should be ready by friday but I'm not rushing it.I have no need to rush it and over look things so im taking my sweet ass time. I was going to work on it today but didn't want to pull the cover off the engine with it being so dusty and windy out so hopefully it's a little more calm tomorrow and friday.

Lol very true...

Just need an option to actually get this bitch running with a legit transmission. ZZP said they wanted 7-8K for the f23 swap too... like really?! you guys might do good work, but really?! lol the car isnt even worth that much!

Anyways WTF is up with the dust storm last night and then 2 of them today... weird. And still no effing rain!

i felt rain. i love my f23 and it loves me again. need to replace my timing chain tensioner and then just go over a few things. and need a new HE pump, and a new exchanger too. then i should be good. have a few other goodies to swap out, but nothing that is too too hard

Nope. You have to crack the two halves of the motor. There are 20 mains and 10 more sub mains where the oil pan is.

So there's no way I can do it with only the oil pan off then?

Nope unfortunately. You have to remove the pan to get to the main bolts. You might as well drop the whole subframe for that. After the top half is pulled nothing else is holding the motor to the car... I dont think.

You gotta pull the tranny, clutch, pan, head, pistons, etc
