Yeah you will have to crank your timing down a tad. Or get Torco Fuel accelerant. I mix the Torco with 91 Oct to make 95-98 Oct. (In smaller volumes 105 Oct for my beast mode) Its about 20.00 a bottle and works like a charm.

Torco Accelerator is bad ass stuff.I mixed it with 5 gallons of 91 to make 105.Great great stuff.My buddy works for Torco and gave me a bottle for free to get feedback for it when I was at Firebird.

Nice.i dig em. They hold 1st gear better than any other tire I've ran except the drag radials

 

I talked to Chris and he said since Im not really seeing any knock right now I should be ok through the winter. I'm going to keep an eye on it and will make plans to adjust if it becomes an issue. My tune is not real aggressive because I don't have a wideband and my ic pump went out while we were tuning it 2 years ago and I just never got it adjusted.

Side note...anybody on here drive or know who drives a yellow SS with high-rise and works at Afni? My wife started working there last week and noticed the car. She drives a white 2.4 SS sedan with pink SS's.

 

You should be fine in under 100 degree heat. 91 is the minimum octane rating. Just stick with high quality gas stations.

 

no I don't know anyone with a yellow SS,atleast I haven't seen them on here.

 

By High quality he means Chevron,Quiktrip,Shell,anyone who is Top tier rated.
