I have to pay an extra $26 for them coming out here but I don't care. At least those bastards had to go out of their way to get it to me. NEVER PAY THE TICKET UP FRONT. THEY MUST SERVE YOU PERSONALLY! They have 120 days to do so and if they don't then the ticket goes away.
Just dont answer your door for 120 days. I did it, it was easy. Or wait for them to stuff it in your door and take it to court and get it dismissed.

I didn't answer the door. I was sleeping and my mom decided to come let me know there was a city of tempe police officer with some papers for me. At that point I was like **** now he knows I'm here thanks. I went out there, grabbed the papers and closed the door.

they already went through that, there was a public vote, very few people voted and as a result there was enough to pass it.

I don't know how the citizens haven't gotten some kind of measurement on the ballot to ban these things. I drove I10 from Cali to Sierra Vista, Az last night, and those things are ******* gay. I was trying to figure out if it was the cameras going off or the lightning.

Id be pissed if I had to worry about these things on a daily basis.

This is why a police officer invented "flip-a-plate" just like james bond for $80 and no ore camera tickets.... Let them flash all day long. It flips your plate from the top, down to a horizontal 90 angle in 1/2 a second and flips back up all at the flick of a toggle switch.. And yet another one has been inventted for bikes called the same. A worthy investment considering the cameras are all for revenue only.. Oh and on the I-10 east and west of phoenix, and major northwest bound highways out of town there are hybrid Ford Escape camera radar vehicles placed every 20 miles from boarder to boarder.

This stuff does not go through public vote, it goes throught state vote... I know I have to friends that are DPS detectives that are SOOO against this.... You can go 160 if your car can and not many can go that fast, just pay the ticke and that's all she wrote... Does not go on your license or driving record and will not affect ins.

well whatever vote it went through it passed I remember trying to make people aware of it but of course word of mouth only goes so fast. As long as people drive carefully and the speed limit the cost to maintain the cameras will force them out of commision I heard the australian dude that designed them charges a buttload of money.

ya the state spent millions of dollars putting up cameras hoping that the revenue they generate will be more than enough to pay for the cameras and make some extra

The fixed cameras are... the vans are a little sneakier. They put their signs pretty close to the van.

how is that possible that you got flashed at 67 MPH? The 101 speed limit is 65 and I know for a fact that those camera'a dont flash you at 2 MPH over??

Just wondering?

just have to bleed the state dry by not getting any tickets, they can't spend millions each year to maintain a dozen camera let alone nearly 100 cameras if there are no tickets to issue it can be done

invisible those aren't that great a guy made them in this site wanted 300 each one but the problem was you have to have them like 2-3 inches away from ur plate and it would look weird as **** if a cop was looking he'd definitly look or know what it is
