I'm tellin you, take it to the dealer and raise HELL!!! That is bullshit that they sold you a car with 80 miles of pure abuse on it, you are intitled to a new clutch!

I think it's BS too. What else would GM have done with a car to put 80 miles on it, when it was supposedly trailered to shows. It had to have been careless goofing off. I drove Kate's and heres feels better to me. Her's grabs firmer.

I'm going to let them scope it out and determine if it is the clutch, or if it is the pressure plate or clutch cylinder. Something is creating slippage and you all saw it. with your eyes.

What was up!?!? Imagine this... launch, then rev-limiter for 3 seconds strait WITH NO TIRE SPIN AT ALL! While only moving about 5-10 mph!

It could have been one of the Auto Show in Motion cars. I watched people there sliding the GTO's and SSR's around like they were on a drift course. I was tearing up the track in the Ion Red Line and the 2003 Civic Si.

Dude the one he got was the one at thorobred with the "AN AMERICAN REVOLUTION" decal on the windsheild. Remember the one on the big stand, I was looking at buying that one, but they said mine was better and it was a pain to bring it down from the stand. He showed me the info sheet on his car and it was shipped directly to GMPP and was showcased (abused) for 81 miles before it was shipped to the dealer.

Yeah no kidding. I'd like to find out which show it was at, because that Auto show in motion would be a bad sign. I think GM started using it on Nov. 11, 2005. That's the day my warranty started, despite me buying the car May 19, 2006.

Maybe I shouldn't complain about my clutch! Sounds like you were trying to do a high rev launch with a car full of Fat chicks! Have you been drinkin'?

That wouldn't do it. I've had my car fully loaded and all it does is spin, especially with bigger people in the back.

Not to de-rail from broken clutches and fat chicks, but is anyone going for sure this Friday? Forecast calls for a high of 103 - much better than the 110+ days we've been having lately. Should be better conditions than last week.
