You're not gonna do cam or crank? what are those rated at?

 

I'm thinking bout camming it but then again I Idk.

 

There rated pretty like 400-500 whp so I dnt need to replace them

I would cam it but 07 n up we would have to machine da cam n get da sensor pressed into da new cam so it'll be extra work just to make it fit

hey whats up guys hey im currently in nm in Albuquerque and i have a question for you guys my car died its sitting in my dads house but my car wont start and i was wondering if any of you guys know of a good mechanic for my car thax

 

What exactly does it do when you try starting it?

 

all it does is crank but doesnt turn over it died on me on the way here from AZ like 145miles to get to my dads house it jerked a bit and then completely shut off on me

 

Hhhmmm hard to say.the. turning over and jerking kinda tells me no fuel getting in try checking all your fuses n all that little stuff work from there and up to bigger stuff ya know maybe fuel pump??.

 

yup did that seems like the fuel pump is working oh and another problem is when i took it to a mechanic he tried to get a reading of the cars comp and there was no signal so thats also something else lol but yea any mechanics that you guys recommend also have all my perf parts in the car that i want to install

 

COuld be spark, could be fuel. Could be a few different things. Check for those two first though, then go from there.

 

i got spark i have fuel also i had the car parked for 3 months but had almost no fuel so when i turned it back on it worked fined fill up the gas and everything drove it for 4 weeks and then this happen and im stumped if you guys know of any good mechanic im all ears lol

 

I'm kinda the local guy for mechanics, but I'm horrid at diagnostics. Is it even trying to turn over?

 

actually if i disconnect the battery for 10 mins you know reset everything back it turns on 2mins later it shuts its self off

 

So you're saying if you reset the pcm it'll run and then kill itself?

 

I've never had any issues with my cars but must peeps here are still under warranty, I'd say take it to a dealer, reliable chevy has been good to me so far..., also how long has it been since you did a full tune up (changed plugs, fuel filter, etc.), a bad fuel filter could give you the symptoms you described, call teh dealer and ask if they can bench check your ECM, that way you don't have to move the car if you don't have to

 

exactly thats why im stump dont know what it could be right before it kills it self check engine light comes on then dies

 

Stay away from reliable. Man I hate that place.

 

8months ago i think cant remeber exactly but hasnt been too long how much do they charge to do that fuel filter is good checked it checked the pump oh while i was doing that i broke one of the fuel lines so i got to replace that now to lol

 

lol, should just replaced it while you have it off just to rule it out, don't take much to ruin a filter, little bit of bad fuel and it sitting for awhile, you'll need to call them and ask, I don't even know if they can/will do it
