Dude, have ever gotten a speeding ticket?? My insurance on a 2000 Celica went from $220 a month, to $583 a month, cause I had 3 tickets in 3 years. Thats why I dont have that car anymore.

 

that depends on the insurance. there is nothing that says you need to use the same insurance company

 

there is a circle k on dear valley and the 17 right off the freeway. off on access so we dont get lost. does that seem like a good spot?

You just asked a 27 year old if he's ever gotten a speeding ticket. Yes, I've gotten several. I haven't gotten one in several years now because I finally got out of the "hurry up and get there" stage of my life. However, my insurance never went up from a ticket. Nobody I know has ever had their insurance go up because of a speeding ticket. I don't know what kind of insurance you had but it doubling because of tickets is not right. I had 2 or 3 in a couple years at one point and I never saw an increase. They probably increased your insurance because they realized you were driving a Toyota!
