I was told the Cobalt SS and HHR SS mufflers are the same. GM is repurchasing my HHR SS due to lemon law issues, and they are requiring me to put the car back to 100% stock. Only thing left is the muffler. Please LMK how much, and I will paypal or send you a check. I need it ASAP. Thanks!

 

i dont think they are the same man. the cobalt ss's stock muffler has about a foot of tailpipe after the muffler/ before the chrome tip. the HHR's have a very small (about 4-6in) straight tailpipe and the chrome tip.

 

I think they turned the same after they both went to turbo instead of SC. Any chance of any turbo guys posting up some pics of their mufflers? I havent gotten out to the dealership yet.

 

I have a 07 stock SS/SC one sitting in my garage if you get really desperate. Only 12k on it too.

They never had an HHR SS/SC man, but I hope they are the same muffler for your sake. Deff. look at photos before you buy one.

 

A sc exhaust will not fit on a tv hhr. I think the tc cobalt and tc hhr are the same, but not positive
