Once you have the shifter in you will realize reverse lock out doesn't work and there is tons of space to the right of 5th.

Put the car in reverse.

Unlock the adjuster on the side to side cable.

Move the shifter to the right only, not foward or back, pull up on the reverse lockout and move the shifter further right.

Release the reverse lockout collar and shifter should stay all the way to the right, hooked on the upper housing.

This is where reverse was on the factory shifter.

Lock the adjuster on the side to side cable.

Vola! reverse lockout works as intended, and 5th gear is up and to the right with no play to the right of it, no "getting used to the 5th with a Hurst"!
nice...good instructions

Hurst only makes and sells (always only has) the Gun metal color.

The polished one is just for illustration purposes, in which was never produced.

All are Gun Metal finish, no other option...

I installed one ages ago, absolutely love it! The only drawback is an all-metal shifter gets very hot in the dead of summer and very cold in winter but a sock solves all. I wouldn't go back to stock or onto anything else even if it was bought and installed for me!

Sorry Hurst does not offer a bushing kit. Any bushing kit should work with the Hurst shifter.

Only option is what is what is included from hurst. You can always swap it out with another brand.
