Are you able to post the size difference? I'd like to do the computations on the Alternator RPM changes.

Thanks!

install wasn't so bad, and i see what people were talking about with trying to get the belt on, but if you can get just the edge started then just turn the pulley and it will feed itself on. just make sure that its fully on the other pulleys before you start the car wouldn't want to shred the belt on startup haha.

question for everybody thats installed their pulleys so far... is this buy worth it for either of them? even tho i missed the group buy prob still gonna get them.. just wanted to no if it was worth it?

and ive done research on the both that are offered and im still confused about the differnce between a underdrive crank pulley and a lightweight crank pulley?
is one just light weight and the other just smaller in diameter? please dont flame me ..haha

both are lighter then stock but they also make the underdrive which is smaller in diameter. Lighter weight alone helps alot (just like lighter wheels) but the underdrive also helps the na guys. Supercharged guys are supposed to get overdrive (to move the supercharger faster)

mind you im not 100% sure but pretty sure (i often get the underdrive and overdrive confused)

your right underdrive smaller diamete, i say its worth it but alot of people say its not... to me every little bit helps. to other they feel its overpriced for the lil hp you get if any. i did notice faster revs.

Everyone gets back to work tomorrow so we'll get the alternator pulleys completed this week Sorry for the delay with the Holidays, I'll keep you posted

We'll have them ready for the 2.2/2.4 and also for the 2.0 witch has a different alternator and pulley.

i made the same mistake..

they are the same pulley, light weight is just a crank pulley but lighter weight...

the underdrive pulley is same as light weight just small in diameter.

mrz i think said expected gains are 3-5 hp... but you probably wont notice that, you'll notice the faster revs.

LW= about 10-15% quicker revs and 1-3 whp if u have a system in ur car get this!

UD= about 15-20% quicker revs and 2-4 whp but will stress ur electrical system if u have a system and what not...

this is also based on ur supporting mods as well...
