what new hardware? as far as i know the limiting factor to slamming a cobalt are the rear spring perches. Unless you remove and move the actual perch, you can ride on the bumpstops themselves and only be so low.

the rears will be redesigned in house so you can further slam the rear.

object of these coilovers are to slam but to still ride uber well!!!

I got to checkout some suspension systems at the car meet last weekend in Illinois and boy some of these suspensions systems were scarry

i understand that you want to slam the rear, but you need to say how. I am fairly well aware of what goes on with the rear suspension on the car, as well as the layout of things there. I just don't see how you could do it without a spring with a shortened overall height.

The springs will be shorter. I've already gotten a shorter set in but it still needs to go lower. The object is to make the bump stop and bottom perch not hit each other. This is what I'm curious to see.

they look like any other dropped cobalt. I don't want to be that guy, but come on, show us some pictures of the actual coilovers on the car, no wheels.

i mean, you could ride with no rear spring at all, just the bumpstop on the spring perch, and you can still only go so low. cobalts were not designed to be "slammed".
