Strut Tower Bar initial offering. Clear Image Automotive Original Design!

Thanks to the local Ion and Cobalt owners for their dedication and enthusiasm. We had access to both models today and we are happy to announce two new, original products.

We have completed the design of our new strut tower brace for both the Ion and the Cobalt. We are happy to say, our bar is superior in every way to any other strut tower bar available. Sleeker appearance, no slotted bolt holes for a stronger design, easy install and made 100% in America.

EDIT
Great news everyone! We will be able to do these in 6061 T6 aluminum. They will be cnc machined from 1/2" thick billet aluminum. The bars will be a perfect fit just like our steel R&D bar, will weigh less, will have no welds, no slots and actually be more rigid than the steel bar. Total retail for these will be $195.00. They will be available mirror polished and clear coated, or powder coated for an extra fee. (Still waiting for quotes). Or I can paint them here for no additional charge.

For those who have already ordered today, thanks very much. The difference in cost for the 1st ten is $20.00 for the billet aluminum. Total of $115.00 plus shipping. If you are one of the first, and are not comfortable with the additional $20.00, just let us know and we will build you the steel version.

Since we have had such great interest in these, and the forum feedback is what prompted me to pursue the aluminum, we will extend our offer as such:

1st ten bars for $115.00 plus shipping.
2nd ten bars for $135.00 plus shipping.
3rd batch of 10 bars for $155.00 plus shipping.

After that, if there is still interest, we can look at maybe doing another run as a GP for $30.00 off retail.

Absolutely not! This in no way looks like the ARK/DC strut bar.
This is a totally new design. Dan is trying to get pictures up as I write this!

Top is the Cobalt bar and bottom is the Ion bar.
Keep in mind, these are the original bars built on the cars today by hand.

The owners left at roughly 11 PM so there wasn't enough time to get them back on the cars for installed pictures. We will do so tomorrow if they are available to stop by.

Let us know what you think.
We are out of here.

Thanks everyone.

For the Cobalt, retail should be $145.00. We are offering the first 10 for $95.00.

Right now these are being offered in steel. Total weight is 5.6 pounds. These are VERY rigid with no flex...

We may be able to build them in aluminum for less weight, but the cost will go up.

Let us know what you guys think.

Thats some funny stuff... Was a very interesting day for sure... we were worried nothing was going to happen but where able to produce something from a long coffee drinking day. Both cars will be in the shop in the morning to check proper fit and will take pictures.

Looks good but we need a 3 piece strut bar, where the middle piece bolts to the side pieces and can tighten. Something that will actually do something!

Put me down for the first 10 as well ......it definitely looks different than any other bar I've seen, and for $95 I'd be willing to give it a go.

This along with the subframe bar I've got coming should sure up the front end nicely

Both of these strut bars are a very good design and are very effective. As 04Redline said, we are going to put them on the vehicles to get some installed pictures. Definitely worth the money!

Are you referring to a camber kit? I wouldn't want a 3 piece strut bar - the more rigid the better.

Here are the pictures of each strut tower brace installed.

Cobalt bar:

Ion bar:

They will be painted gloss black.

Of the initial 10 for the Cobalt, we have 6 left.

Also, one of the Ion owners is driving around with the R&D bar. He called and said his car felt completely different. He pushed hard through some corners and said he couldn't believe the difference. I'm sure he will post his own comments soon.

Also, both bars install in roughly 5 minutes, are extremely secure and have no play because we did NOT slot or elongate the bolt holes like other bars.

Thanks again.
