Tjin Edition Trunk Group Buy
I'm sure we could find replacement screws easily enough. I checked through the box before I got rid of it, it must have gotten lost somewhere in that sea of bubble wrap, foam, and tape. Khurram, do you know what kind of screws they were? I'll try to find replacements this week.
wait you're not talking about those bolts that those pieces of wood were attached with were you?

Tommy, my stickers and a bag of screws were in the same plastic bag with the instructions and CC medallion. Taped to the underside of the trunk, in between layers of foam. There were 4 interior trim screws, pretty standard, and two stainless bolts, with flat washer, lock washer and shouldered nut that you can get at any Lowes. I'll post a pic, hang on. I think they are 1/4x20.

Pieces of wood?
I haven't totally unwrapped the thing yet. I don't want it scratched on the way to the shop Saturday.
Pics taken, though they aren't the best. My glass top desk screws up the phone camera's focus. Let me upload them.
The trim screws are plain ole trim screws, self tapping. The two stainless bolts are standard hardware store bolts.

Ace is the place. They have all of this.
Is that a crack there in the corner? Hard to tell from that pic if it is a crack or a scratch?

When you open it the first page is about Duraflex.
What is Duraflex
Why is it superior to conventional materials.
More like that, all about Duraflex and nothing on CF. It does go into paint prep stuff, but for Duraflex, not CF. Then it has some disclaimers for liability and injury.
The next 2 pages are installation instructions.
For the trunk it's 4 steps. I'll paraphrase cause typing a lot is hard for my hands.
Step 1: Open the trunk. Remove all factory clips and brackets and covers. And insulation. Remove hinge, lock, wiring, and lock cables or wires.
Step 2: Remove trunk by unbolting it form hinges. You might need help doing this.
Step 3: Using all the parts from your original trunk put it all on the new trunk. SOme drilling may be required.
Step 4: Install new trunk be reversing Step 2. You may need to make adjustments for fitment.
NOTE: Some trunks may have additional lighting. You may need to remove them from the original trunk before you can remove the trunk from the car.
NOTE: Some drilling may be required to attach additional lighting to the Carbon Creations trunk.
