so as you all saw on post 1900 1913 i had a small hair line crack. i went out bought some nail hardner at my local drug store $3.77 after tax.

ill let the rest do the talking

Before

After

one small coat. not putting too much on but im going to do another one. i am legit SHOCKED! i at first wasnt sure what to do. i thought of this clear stuff my mom puts on her fingernails because she goes to the salon to get them done. i pm'd khurram and he was like it doesnt seem THAT bad and all but i still wanted to do something. TommyP suggested using resine. but i have NO experience with that. so i told khurram about the clear stuff but wasnt sure. than i told him maby using some kind of automotive hardner that'd leave the area white or something and than using black touch up paint over it to hide it, because it was such a small area. and khurram was saying how he thought nail polish had a hardner in it. so i said screw it went to the drugstore just now and bought this nail hardner. and i was like ugh it better work. i put some over the small crack first and it instanly hid it. i was like WHATTTT?!! so than i was like alright lets try the scuff see if it really works. I put it on and boom it looks like it was NEVER there! only if you saw the original picture would you know that it had a scuff
im glad i did this. just wanted to share with you guys!!

My list of instructions was on how to remove and install a trunk lid. I'm not going to be responsible for people cutting into their trunks.

Or you could just have them re-clear that. It's as simple as that, doesn't need an entire new trunk lid.

When you buy a product you shouldn't have to repair it right out of the box....

Looks great Brandon! Glad that idea work out so well. Now try to avoid nail polish remover from getting on your trunk.

Please stop instigating in my thread, if you knew anything at all you would know that I've built enough rapport with my customers to where I will take care of them if there are issues with the product they've received. I didn't tell anyone to fix their trunk if it was broken, people ask for suggestions on how to fix it and I give it to them. Thanks.

Why make such a big deal out of a small problem All that needs to be done is it needs to be re-cleared. The entire trunk lid doesn't need to be replaced for something so insignificant.

That does suck. As long as you guys have been waiting for it, then it comes damaged. Why aren't you guys mad? Should have been perfect. But if you guys like to get faulty products with damage big or small I guess that's cool
