i think he might have accidentally threw them away but i said it was fine because someone said you can use all the stock ones but you clearly cant for the 3rd brake light or hinges.

alright maybe il give it another try. is there even a metal plate for the hinges? i dont think you can take those out. because after you take off the bolt there is just the screw idk how you would get that out but i didnt really look at it.

are you talking about the mountin brackets?
lol I'm assuming you're talking about the piece that connects the trunk like to the car. If so I just bought extra washers and used the screws that they sent me to secure it. I guess you can try to find a screw a little bigger and force it in to rethread the fiberglass idk

Same here. The bolts they used to hold the pieces of wood on, with a couple of washers.

was there ever any confirmation that the g5 trunk would fit on the cobalt coupe? i just read the updates on the first post. obviously it would be absurd to read through 84 other pages for the answer. thanks in advance

the threads for the nuts for the third brake light. do they come off? or do i just use the screws in the bag provided and not have to use the thread that attatches to the stock 3rd brake light mounting area and that nut.
