Yes my second trunk is in perfect condition!!!

 

Second time's a charm! lol.

 

 

Mine was good enough. One of the tips was broken but no where near the condition I received my last one in. Im not going to lie though, I was still disappointed in the way the trunk was shipped.

 

were all of ur boxes damaged when u received them? my box is perfect but i havent been able to get sum1 open it up and take the trunk out completely to check the corners

Thank you Khurram. Nice job on it. It took very little work to get it just right. The left side gap looks off here, but it's the angle of the picture. They are even. The 3rd brake light hole needed just a hair's thickness shaved with a rat tail file to be perfect and the rest was pretty well right on.

I get so many compliments on the trunk. I've even had people stop and compliment me, pizza delivery guys almost crash looking at it, random people at gas stations and car washes come over and want to talk about it. The thing is definitely an attention getter. I was going to paint it red, but I may just leave it as is.

hey kharrum i'll pay extra if you can fill it up with popcorn or something so that edge doesn't contact anything, just foam obviously not working for my case

 

I did notice that the box is far larger than the trunk, with nothing to stop the trunk from tossing around in there. Nine was undamaged and perfect, but some popcorn or plastic peanuts would make a world of difference.

 

Note that with the CS Rep, Victor. He's the only one who has access to the case info and can inspect it now before it goes out. I can't believe this is happened twice now.

 

Seriously? I mean I love my Tjin trunk but look at the way it's being sent out...there's got to be something you can do for us because ED is seriously trying to cut corners in the way they ship these.

 

yeah honestly not going to lie you cant ship a trunk like that. i think wood on the ousdide with a fitted piece of styrofoam and than peanuts in the WHOLE box is needed for those who have returns.
because face it. everyone HAS been waiting over a year for this trunk.
mine may be going on this weekend pending if my bodyshop guy paints my SS bumper lip skirts and rk rear lip

Cut corners? You're blaming us for the way UPS is handling the package? Be a little more open minded, you only blame us because we're here to listen to you and your complaints. I'm not expecting anyone to hold on to a part that is damaged, but these are packed extremely well, maybe the space in the box is an issue, but it wouldn't be a problem if these boxes weren't thrown around in UPS hubs nationwide.

 

i feel like cardboard pieces could be taped over the edges or something. but mine didnt get damaged so im fine haha.

 

I'm not blaming to guys for the way these are shipped, I'm blaming you guys for the way they're packaged. Yes, UPS should fix the way they handle packages. I could go on but I'm not out of respect for you and the product you brought us. Thank you. I'm not trying to come off as personal or a dick, You've been nothing but helpful to me and I appreciate that. I just think packaging could have been better.

I have to admit that last post of the black car looks excellent with that trunk and lip. You guys are in Ontario right? I think I've dealt with carbon creations before.

how does your exhaust now melt your lip?
my rk g5 lip is being installed this weekend and the guy was telling me we may have to adjust the hanger a litttle bit

 

it's very close i don't know how it hasn't melted yet lol. but yeah i tried heating it up with a torch and bending the tip down and it didn't move much so i'll just have to get dual exhaust and have them farther down

 

They came with it, Brent. Tommy didn't get them in the box or keep them?

Somewhere a few pages back I posted pics of the hardware so that you could look at it and see what came with it. Let me see what I can find.
