Well then that answers that for me. My biggest plans for the motor is new springs and a ported head so that won't be enough for me. Thanks Blue

Would you recommend the 1900,don't plan on doing any major motor modifications for a while. Cars completely stock right now, I'm aiming for 350-400. Someday maybe more but I'd say that's a decent number to aim for.

I'm not trying to steer anyone away from a 1900 lol. But bigger isn't always better and more power bolting it on. The biggest thing is one is working less to make it happen. So there's slight gains with lower IAT's. But where the 1900 would really shine is a motor that can breath like a bastard and is stong enough to handle higher boost. Like Tjolley's motor. Check out his build thread if you guys haven't.

I'll check that thread out tomorrow when I get to work. The 1320 hits 25 psi at 2.8" or so. That's all I've seen people running. Is that due to needing a built engine for greater boost or is that the limit of that blower? Like I said within the year I'll have the head ported/polished with a 3" intake and exhaust. If Josh produces the larger intake, I'll grab that as well so it'll breath as well as it could. The only thing I'm limited about is the rods/pistons.

Well the lower the pulley the more heat you make. Some like to run a larger pulley to keep the TVS more efficient. I ran a 2.6" with my ported head and cams seeing 22 psi and I loved it lol. But I wouldn't recommend a pulley that small without some head and exhaust work.

As for everyone else. The GMPP should be your go to clutch. Holds the power and drives nice. And its cheap!
Yea I def plan to do some major head work but that will probably wait till sometime next year, right now my goal is just to break 300 hp. When I build my head I'm going to build my motor as well but I want to do some more research into what springs and cams I want to run... I don't want to just cheap out and throw whatever in. As far as injectors go... I already know I don't want to run Siemens 80's they will not be enough for what I need. Still looking for what injector I need, I've been reading about spray patterns and how the fuel gets atomized ect. I really want to see how those injectors you picked up work for you.

Main reason I'm not focusing on motor work now is because when I do get into it next year, I want to do everything at once pretty much drop a new built motor in. I'm tempted to opt for the 1900 bit I doubt I'll build a motor anywhere close to tjolley(tho when it comes around to getting the motor built I may decide to say screw it and go all out lol...)

Still a lot I need to learn

Honestly after just a few tweaks my cruising fuel trims are all within +/- 2 (thats really good) Idles well. I would recommend them. Just plan ahead, dont want to have to rebuy and waste money.

That'd do it for sure!

I think ill stick with the current group buy. Should be able to do what I want to with it. Still need exhaust, injectors, bunch of other stuff.
That thing looks sweet though haha.

I may have to try and get a set of those... you say they idle well, how well compared to stock? I read that the seimens weren't particularly good for our engines so I'm looking for better alternatives but the ones you have are looking very nice indeed.

I do have my build planned...it's been planned for months now lol. Got everything down to a T about how I want to progress to reach my goal, I know it isn't happening overnight but it's all a learning process to me. I've already laid out a parts list that more than likely I'll need your guys help with deciding what to go with when I get around to building my engine. I do want to push this TVS to it's limits, and I'm aware of the cost and some of the difficulties I'll come across from my obsessive reading of any information I come across. It's sad but most of the members builds are actually bookmarked in my favorites as well as various other sources of information I come across!

I really can't wait to do a build thread but I'm still in the process of gathering the remaining bolt-ons I need, and I do intend to do this build right, my goal is 350HP+, I know I can very easily get that on a turbo but I'm a hard head For some reason I've never taken the "easy route."(not saying turbo builds are easy btw)

Well I should have a writeup on the injectors once I finalize the tune. But yes they are good so far. Not too hard to install. have to get them through armclure. They run on the EV1 harness.

I'm wondering if I should go for the 1900 as well due to my plans but I need more info!

To see any real power with the 1900 I would be looking at stroking a 2.4 LE5? Idk if I can make a commitment like that

I think this is the thread that 100%METH did with the 1900

In that thread he was planning on using a 1900 but ended up sticking with the 1320. He had bolted the 1900 on and ran it before that thread though.
