I know what ya mean...It may very well just be me, but it seems like my car doesn't float (side to side) going down the road like it did before. Certain roads where big rigs have grooved the lanes, she would want to just drift from time to time, I haven't felt that in a couple of day now, so I guess this bar helped to take out the flex.
I'm going to be sure and go back under this weekend and check the tightness of the locknuts for insurance, but after that, I feel I'm good to go.

Just a thought,
Since no one makes a Strut Tower Brace for the 2.0T, this bar could realistically take its place because it looks damn near impossible to get a STB to fit in this engine bay.

any thoughts?

This bar will fit on your TC it doesnt have the same effects from a strut tower bar would but it would help a lot. From going from nothing to having this bar there. here is a pic were you mount it at.

Ride Quality, is excellent. Makes the front end stiffer. More solid feel to it. Highly recommend it. I have had mine on for little over a year. No complaints.

Thanks,
jas

subscribed...will try to put mine on this week, its been here a couple weeks so im gonna try to finally get it on and try it out but im definitely happy with the strut bar( i bought the combo pre powdercoated...like $195us to my door) it definitely tightened it up in the front HUGE time so im hoping this will make it even stiffer, has anyone else noticed how much different these cars are w a stb?
