ZZP mid length header/DP combo & optional 3" catback
sweet so if i'd get that then i wouldnt need the a/f wideband gauge cuz the aeroforce gauge will readout my a/f an i'll have a free spot on my gauge pillar for another gauge...is that a good idea an does it work well/cost effective?
It's worked well for me.
I've haven't had an issue with my set up for 3 months now.
Just make sure you set up the LC-1 correctley and do the free air calibration as written in the booklet that comes with it. Also on the Wideband program you'll install on a laptop make sure to not hit the calibration button as this will make the controll board do aother free air calibration and if the sesor is in the downpipe and not exposed to open air your gauge will read 7.6 all the time because the calibration is wrong (not that I know from experience or any thing
)

You can get away doing it with out a laptop it just means you can't change the narrowband wire to act as a wideband. The LC-1 comes with two analog outs. 1 that out of the box is narrowband and the other wideband. To change the narrowband you have to configure the LC-1 with the laptop.
But you can install an LC-1 with out the laptop. You just have to use the led and push button wired into the black wire and ground to tell the LC-1 to do the free air calibration mechanically. If you go to innovative's website and download the LC-1 manual it explains it better.

so your saying i can still use it as a wideband if i configure it mechanically an they have a manual to do it that way..correct?...sry for so many questions....your the experienced one..lol
oh okay so if i add the lil option for the extra bung in option 4 it will be added then, and you know where is it that they add it add dp or header? im new with this so dont know and im trying to look around and get diff options and all
i'm not sure exactly...i get my combo soon tho i think...if you know someone with hptuners jus get them to delete the rear o2 sensor code and put your wideband sensor in that bung....but if you don't wanna do it that way then jus get the extra bung an put it in that way
Out of the box the only thing you have to do is power the lc-1 for about 3 to 5 seconds without the sensor plugged in. The shut the lc-1 off plug the sensor in turn power on and have the sensor out in open air. Let it stay on for 2 to 3 minutes to do the free air calibration. Then turn off Lc-1 and plug Sensor into bung in downpipe. DO NOT DISCONNECT SENSOR FROM LC-1!!!!
I belive it makes it do another free air calibration and at this point being in the downpipe will be calibrated wrong. Run the brown wire (analog wideband output) to Interceptor gauge where the two (Green and white I belive) wires are hanging. Wire brown wire to green or white wire. Configure interceptor slope and intercept settings in the configuration for analog 1 and 2 in the interceptor config screen. The slope and intercept values are somewhere on Aeroforce's fourms I can't remeber them off the top my head. Start the car go drive around enjoy seeing 10.8 afr with Stage 2 tune
Also for those putting a bung on the stock downpipe go towards half way from header flange and cat and do it at a 30 - 40 degree angle. My bung was put on the top accidentaly and it was some work to get the sensor to fit between the firewall and the pipe.
oh okay then once you get yours if you can let me know I will apreciate it thx for the help
sure thing...i hope to be gettin it about next week or early the following week....someone who has it could probably specify exact location tho if you needed to know..tho this GB has ended already if you werent aware
yea no problem....jus figured i'd mention..ppl come in an throw money at zooomer an don't check the page an expect they are gettin a product...info is free an never outdated tho...if someone doesnt let you kno first then i'll let ya kno when i get it where its located at
ok, tell me if this is right....

Haha, sorry... Reading beats me everytime. Lol
Just go to the ZZP website, pick out your options, go as if you were checking out (you will have to enter in your name, address, etc), and then it will bring you to a page with the different options you can have a far as shipping. Pick one, and then add it to the price. Let me know if you have any trouble

I've changed my mind on getting the 3" cat back... I'd rather not lose any low end power. I like my torque... The only thing is, when racing on the track, you really aren't in the lower end of the rpm range. For those of you who go to the track a lot... I don't, so low end power for me is the key with street driving. I'll just stick to the header/dp combo... Still going 3 inch dp tho. *steps over to megan cat-back gb*
Good choice. I actually hope the 3" that goes on next week will take away from some of the low end TQ. Lol, the curve is not even a curve, it is pretty much a straight line right across. Maybe it will help me hook up just a little better.
