so whats going on with this? Am I going to get an invoice of exactly what I owe? My situation is also a bit different since I sent in a stock single pass intercooler plate since they needed cores, ZZP said they would apply 75 off my total. I don't feel safe just paypalling a non business paypal that amount of money, are they going in groups of 10 or what?

I've heard zero from Zzp in this thread and on this in general should I PM zoomer or what?

I agree with Rod somewhat.

IN MY OPINION:
Unlike all of the other vendors, zooomer isn't very active in this thread nor any of the other one's really. No sales promoting going on, no getting to know his customers, etc, etc. Not very friendly I'd say. He demands no one pm him, yet we have questions that really he should only answer.

I don't think you have to worry with his pay pal not being legit, but I would like to see more effort on his part. I guess it's kinda late for all that, but still. Not exactly filling the "supporting" part of his title.

Are you guys kidding? He owns a business that does things for Grand Prixs, Cobalts, Grand Ams, and G6s.
He actually actively participates in creating new products, as you can tell through the Twin Charge kit, and trust me, there are a lot of other parts that he makes regularly for other cars that he works on, too.
He is a safe buyer. I have bought from him even when I had my Grand Am with zero problems.
The reason he is not "supporting" the site as you say is because he is supporting the entire Cobalt community with regular breakthrough products, so it is understandable that, unlike us, he doesn't spend a couple hours a day on the forums.

I've made 132 posts on this forum and I monitor about 30 forums for the cars we work on.
We are the largest 3800 vendor in the world and supply many of the other Grand Prix & Cobalt companies the parts that they sell.
I personally get about 100 emails/day to my aol account, 10 IMs here, and I get flagged on about 20 advanced tech support customer service emails a day. This on top of about 5 post it notes to return calls.
I have status meetings with shipping, installation, and fabrication daily. I own a car dealership that scraps cars for ZZP, does body work and paint jobs on cars and helps find company test vehicles.
I'm currently trying to launch the largest project we've ever done, which is a new aluminum head casting for the 3800. Smaller projects include FM heat exchangers for the cobalt and GP, new intercooler cores for the GP, a meth kit, new fuel systems for the GP and Cobalt, and secure some contracts with larger companies like Magnaflow that are affected by the fuel pricing and reluctant to put in place long term arrangements. This on top of the fact that I'm talking to various banks nearly daily as we're exanding operations from our 2 current buildings into a new 31,000 sq/ft place for Fusion and part of fabrication.

We've launched over 10 new products in the last month and we've had to have meetings so that everyone can be brought up to speed on this products (including the stainless mid length header). I single handedly did ZZPs end of a 65 person group buy, had a knee surgery 6 days ago, I'm walking with 1 crutch because I had shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago and instead of laying in bed and getting a hummer from my girl that I make drive mod cars to test stuff out, I'm posting at 1am on a cobalt forum because people 'don't think I'm involved much' Thanks

Dont let people who have no idea what they are talking about get to you.

To all of you who doubt his participation, why dont you check some other forums to see what he does and actually check out the rest of his site, because there are A LOT of parts that he makes for MULTIPLE vehicles platforms.

Well seams to be quite a bit of conflict here. Maybe because of all the action going on and people wanting some performance parts???? lol... Anyways hope everyone the best with this GP.... i personally went another route and got dyno numbers before and after to see what the difference was. I was persoinally amased after seeing numbers and driving the car after. A header/DP combo makes a world of a difference. I am 150% satified with my purchased that i made and am keeping my ears open to see what you all have to say here........

I was going to keep my stock downpipe because I know I can get more for it elsewhere, but because of this post I will spend my money with you guys.
Keep it up!

I suppose I wasn't up to par on all that is going on here recently for you Zooom. I didn't hear about your knee surgery, and I knew you were busy with the twin charge kit, but I didn't see the grand scale of things I guess. No one could begin to understand how much I want a job like yours... Seriously. Cars and all their wonders are a deep passion for me. I can nearly taste it...

I really appreciate this group buy that you've put together for us. I also appreciate you and your business for providing the parts and services that not only I need, but every single person on this site needs, to fuel their addiction and passion of car modification. Coming from me personally, congrats on coming out with one of the most bad ass kits this community will ever see. I'm sure it takes a lot of trail and error, this and that to get 465whp outta one of these 2.0's... It still amazes me that these motors are willing to give so much and how you've took everything from them and are pushing for more.

My week hasn't been so great either, so don't take what I said yesterday to heart. Now, I FULLY understand the meaning of the "supporting" in your title and I'm glad to say that you're probably one of the best people to fill that position for ZZ Performance and CobaltSS.net. I do apologize.

Now get those stainless steel headers and downpipes made so we can all be in a better place! lol

yea, i'd say no one has to worry. i was making arrangements to go to ZZ performance personally and have them do the install. now, do to lack of funds, i wont be doing this, but you have to realize, Zooomer is a local guy to a lot of us balt owners. i don't see him screwing the community over.

Holy crap guys are you all quick to have bad attitudes. I suppose Zoomer isn't as active as other vendors but that doesn't make him any less great of a vendor. ZZP has a great rep on many platforms not just the Cobalt. To be honest I'd much rather see Zoomer not post here and work hard on his business (which he obviously does) then BS with all the kids here to make them happy.

I don't know why anyone is a vendor here all people do is bitch. This is a great group buy and people just need to be patient and chill out. Would you rather have a vendor who BSs in the lounge on this forum or have one who makes a great product and works to get it to us at a good price and in a reasonable time. I know what I want.

AMEN.. and aside from that .. the easiest way to get responses is an email... when i was in the last group buy i would email back and forth and it would take at the very most 2 hours to get back to me .. usually it was withing 30 mins.. thats service

quit your bitching.. least they're doing things again after they said they wouldn't
