1.5" Rear Swaybar?
none stock..........lnf struts = stock component....i mean lets face it UNLESS you are racing you should not be running a xxx bar on the street. plain and simple. its ment for guys who really need to get the ass end of the car around a turn and an experianced driver...inexperianced drivers are going to end up putting the car off the track or spinning it out guarenteed.
I just put my pedders on last Saturday and I am waiting on OTTP to send me their new XXX bar (it was made by powell before, but they are making their own now...). I got this setup for AutoX, but the car is also a DD as well.
So for someone that has that bar and pedders (or something to that nature), is it really NOT street drivable? I would think it would really stiffen up the back, but not so much that daily driving you are risking crashing your car... Forgive me if I am not understanding what you guys are trying to say.

I am retarded, I thought we were talking about the hardcore bar. I have not gotten it yet, but that is what I order (1.25 not 1.5).
really looking forward to the reviews on this. I think I'm gonna hold off on ordering until the end of the season, anything I order now is just gonna cut into my track time budget. I take it Powell is still waiting on powder coating?
im holding off until i bike up my custom konis at the end of the season and another set of wheels with slicks for the xxx bar but its been ordered. i have the hardcore bar for the street and when im on street tires.
But time attack used a 1.75 welded in tube bar + a 1.25 bolt on. SO: If you run stock weld in and 1.5 add on, for sure it is not too much for the track. News to me that anyone is copying my stuff...
I'm on the hardcore bar and STILL running 10psi higher rear to get the car to rotate next time I have the car out I may go higher and I don't really wanna mess with the shocks for rear stiffness.
I may have to just skip one track day this year and get the new bar, seeming more like a necessity for me
I know a few of these have shipped, any reviews/thoughts yet??

just an idea of how much stiffer from someone who has made the switch from the hardcore bar. Ya, that's the part that will be no fun having to pull it every time I throw the all seasons on.
its not a bad install and removal at all..... i mean every time im off the slicks ill have to pull it....no difference there. i mean its going to be a stiff bar. i think the georgian bay cars ran a 1.75" built in bar and a 1" add on bar
Scott you could use it. I got lots of them, shipping daily lol. And as far as overkill yes I agree, for the street and for inexperienced drivers for sure.
