ABS Light Help

Recently I was doing some suspension work on the front drivers side of the car. I had to apply some lubricant(wd40) to loosen a nut and the lubricant(wd40) got inside of a abs sensor that sits right next to the hub assembly. Now I have the ABS light on and I thoroughly cleaned the sensor off but to no avail the light is still on.... Any suggestions/reccomendations? OR do I need to get a new sensor?

bump

Sensor is part of the wheel bearing/hub assembly.

I would make sure have a good clean electrical connection, before you replace a hub, and maybe actually find out if thats what the light is on for.......just a thought.

This is one more reason why WD40 should only be used for removing sticker redsidue.

I don't even use it for that anymore
My son raced karts and they would send us a case every year and the very best thing were the stickers shaped like a WD-40 can.
Very cool and fit right at the bottom of the stearing wheel faring.

The wheel speed sensor is integral to the hub/wheel bearing unit.

They are available online at at decent parts stores
