I know im probably beating a dead horse but how low can you go with lowering springs before you start blowing the stock struts out. Also what springs and sway bars would you guys recommend? The car is an 05 LS, Thanks for the info.

 

I've seen people blow the struts by just using the Eibach springs.

grab some LNF/FE5 shocks/struts and you'll be good. CED sells them for pretty cheap. the only upgrade i know of past that is the Koni Yellows

 

fe5 struts and shocks with SSC springs. Cut 3/8" off the front bump stops.
this is what I have and I love it so far. Nice drop, still comfortable, and no CV noise.

 

My car has 90k miles and I've been lowered for 2k miles and I'm still on stock struts and shocks

 

need more info before I can give a better answer. what are you looking to do with your car? autocross? just drop?

 

Daily driver until i get coilovers then ill be doing some auto cross. I dont plan on getting new struts i just need to know how low i can go before i blow the valves out of the stock struts/shocks
