Look inside the v shaped beam going from one side to the other. The round tube inside is the sway bar.

Thank you for helping me out! I appreciate the feedback. Do we know who 'if anyone' will be making a 24mm rear bar? What are the specs on the Eibach? Also is swaping out the front bar a pain in the tail? *I'm going to look at the how to, but I take it the how to is for the rear only*

Thanks again everybody!

my huge apologies if you said "sway bar" by mistake, however the round tube in the V beam on the rear axle is a stabilizer bar providing structural support only. It is not a sway bar, it has no end links, no bushings and provides no help in stopping body roll of the car

buy a rear sway bar u will notice a big difference.

Correction, a stabilizer bar is a sway bar or anti swaybar or whatever you want to call it. That tube does help keep your car flater in corners. The progress bar has no links either and you will notice a difference with it installed. The Cobalt Cup cars use the same setup but modify it so they can use different size bars.

So the consensus is that the prgress bar improves the car's handling and reduces body roll on the SS/SC not just the lower models. On paper the rear sway for suspension techniques is too small and not worth the money.

I would say yes. Its very easy to install, not that expensive and does improve handling.

I had the same question about not having links, but Sicklyscott set me straight. He seems to know his stuff about suspension. I also read the GM Cobalt performance build book and it makes it more clear. It seems the twist beam axle kind of uses the mounting points as links, if that makes any sense. I have the Progress bar and it does work.
