BC Coilover Question

I purchased and put on Eibach lowering springs on my 05 Supercharged. Needless to say the handling is good but with with stock shocks the ride is absolutly horrible. I am thinking of purchasing BC Coilovers from modernperformance.com. Does anybody have any experience with these Coilovers? If so how is the ride and how is the Quality

Advice, think twice before buying lowering springs unless you are prepared to pay for expensive shocks.
Thanks

I see your on your 11th post... no worries... I'll help you out here. I've been running on the BC coilovers for a month or so now. Heres a link to my thread about them.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/suspension-67/bc-sports-coilovers-progres-rear-sway-bar-86467/

But, since I'm typing, I may as well let you know what I think about them as of now.

Installation: Perfect, shop had no problem putting them on.

Ride: FYI, these are fully adjustable, as I would assume most coilovers are. It really depends on what you set the dampening too and how much travel you adjust your rear springs & shocks too. I havn't touched the dampening knobs on the fronts yet. I just had them installed and lowered. It rides very much like stock on the open road. But if the road is bumpy or has pot holes, your in for a ride, not to mention you need to take it easy on speed bumps (First gear highly recommended).

Lowering: The fronts can go 0 - 3'' down. The rear can be dropped roughly 1.5"; though once settled it slightly more. I'm told if you cut your bump stops, it will lower it another .5" - 1" or so.

Feel & Handeling: I didn't just get coilovers to lower the car nicely. Ever driven a go-kart? My moto with my friends now is "Turn, what turn? I didn't see or feel a turn.."

Overall: Quality coilovers at a fantastic price! The stance is beautiful, and the ride and handling is whats expected of $1000. Soon I will swapping my stock Pirellis to 245/40 or 45/18s all the way around. This will get me little to no gap in the rears and allow me to raise the front coilovers a bit to compensate for the larger tire. Not mention WAY BETTER TRACTION!!! WOOHOO

Any questions, please feel free to PM me. I'm still playing with these; constantly making adjustments until they're set right.

Good luck with your purchase.

-Steve
