Brake Rotor rust?!!?

Just noticed that my front and rear rotors had a film of what looks like rust on them. The car has been sitting for 3 days and it had been raining. Just curious as to weather or not this is normal on an SS/TC. they squeeked and made weird grinding noises the first few times braking but by the time I got back, the rust was gone. Normal?

Hell they do it if you spray it with water while washing the car.

Very normal. The reason it rusts is becasue water will rust any if not all metals steels. Except for stainless steel. Stainstell doesn't rust

^^^ It is because it is a high carbon steel.
