brake squeel

Brand new 5000km brakes squeel alot. Is there a fix. GM says it is normal. Only happens under light application.

its normal. Mine are the same way...

I assume you mean a 2008-2010 SS? then yes its normal. Performance brakes squeal all the time until they are really warmed up.
